Circle Back Entertainment Group is a culmination of 10 years of music and friendship between Alex Zimmermann and Matthew Penfound. This journey has resulted in a collective of top-tier entertainment professionals offering expertise in production, management, songwriting, touring, and administrative services. Circle Back is Nashville’s all-in-house entertainment service provider.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
The road to Circle Back has been anything but clear. We’ve spent many years going in one direction, running into walls, and having to pivot. We’ve learned that the pivots are where the cool stuff lives. Often struggle and pain are the most important parts of the process. Take it on the chin. Learn from it. Always circle back.

Circle Back is comprised of an eclectic group of individuals who’ve spent years creating music and art and managing, touring, and working for top labels and publishers. We understand the struggles and pitfalls in every step of the creative and marketing process; we’ve felt the wins. We’ve felt the losses. Now we want to provide our perspective to the ever-growing community of bands, artists, and producers.
