Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being 12. and having auditions and shoots scheduled made regular public schooling difficult for Julia.

This year Julia is enrolled in private homeschooling designed for children that need flexibility.

Also being in the spotlight has made her an easy target for other children her age, but it’s given her lots of material to write songs about.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I write music about what I’m doing and experiencing, and people pay to have me play my guitar and sing about it, along with other covers I love. I’ve been told (not confirmed) that I am the youngest female songwriter to reach number 9 on the iTunes charts sharing that space with Adel and Olivia Rodrigo.

What do you think about happiness?
When I receive a new song back from my producer, and I get to listen to what it sounds like after all my hard work.
