Today we’d like to introduce you to Sam Steadman.

Hi Sam, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
Have been an owner of several businesses throughout the last 8 years.

Not all have lasted or have been successful. Definitely believe not quitting and learning from mistakes helps in your endeavors. Having ownership in Anything from a clothing company, to a gym, to meal prep, to now. I am a full-time musician, own a veteran-based nonprofit, and owner of a Smashburger pop-up company. I was in the United States Marine Corps, which really helped ignite the character in me to never quit chasing the stars.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t. Throughout pursuit of any type of larger-than-yourself goal, it can come with sacrifices. Tons of sleepless nights. You lose friends along the way as you grow, and the mental struggles you deal with are certainly a battle. All have been worth it though.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
The type of music I play is traditional, singer-songwriter Americana, at least when I’m solo.

Most of the songs that I write are acoustically done, and they usually have some cryptic meaning behind them. I use it to help me therapeutically get through negative things I’ve dealt with in my life. In hopes that these songs will help someone else that may be going through something similar.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Life isn’t all about image. However, being the image of who you want people to know and see you for is definitely something to keep in mind when creating your own brand!
