Rising Stars: Meet Brooke Butler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Butler.

Hi Brooke, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From 5th to 8th grade, I went to a performing arts school and that’s when I fell in love with being on stage. In 2015 I was runner-up in a local singing competition in my hometown called “Country Idol”.

After that, I wanted to get out and sing more. Which led me to sing background vocals in a local band.

Soon after I decided to front my own band. In 2016 I moved to Nashville and started writing my own songs and playing at venues here.

In the past 6 years, I’ve been making a mark in the music industry as a 3 time “female artist” winner for the Red carpet awards in the Netherlands, my single “Till I Had You” hitting number one in the UK, and this past year my newest release “Ashes”, winning “Record of the year” for the Tennessee songwriters association awards. “Ashes” was written by Brooke Butler, Courtney Bumbacher, and Meg Rilley. “Till I Had You” was written by Brooke Butler and Jake Greene. I am so grateful for all my music accomplishments which I could not have done without my incredibly talented co-writers. I absolutely love what I do and I can’t wait to see how far it takes me. My lifetime goal is to make my Opry debut at the Grand Ole Opry.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I haven’t had too many challenges. The music community here is awesome and we all support each other.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Country Rock singer-songwriter.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
