Today we’d like to introduce you to Sterling Wright.
Hi Sterling, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I was blessed to be on Hell’s Kitchen fan favorite and cooked for Oprah born and raised in JC NAPIER and started a culinary school for the kids free of charge through my nonprofit cooking the Wright.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a beautiful journey because we’re expanding.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I cook for celebrities now. I specialize in giving you great food and entertainment.
I’m known for cooking with love the chef with a smile. Most proud I can take some of the students with me to show them what success looks like. I’m the first chef of the projects of South Nashville to do.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
It has to be a passion not a job for the mentor. The mentor will somehow relate to the child. I deal with children that want to be a chef.
