Meet Jacqueline Betton of Speaklyfe Worldwide

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Betton.

Hi Jacqueline, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I am known as the Singer, Songwriter, and SpeakLyfe Advocate. I live in Atlanta, GA but I travel frequently to and from Nashville, TN. My goal is to use my platform, SpeakLyfe Worldwide, to connect with men, women, and young adults who struggle with their Godfidence.

Godfidence springs from self-acceptance. Something I grappled with for a long time. It seemed natural for me to act in front of the public as a professional performer. I was acting on stage since I was 10 years old so yeah, I was a pro, But no one prepared me for the stages of life that I would endure once the performance was over.

The SpeakLyfe platform offers individuals the opportunity to be their whole selves. The space has been crafted for daily conversations to cipher through some of our most difficult blind spots in life. I am not in a position to diagnose a person’s problem. I am simply here to add guidance through conversation. Judgment tends to come from all corners of the world. Every individual is allotted the altitude to fight for their freedom. But not all persons have the ability or wherewithal to step on that battlefield without the right tools. I understand the fight has everything to do with your deepest most authentic connection with the Source.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
This journey to owning my dopeness has been a focused ascent for me. I’ve spent a lot of alone time reflecting and reminding myself of the value I have when looking in the mirror.

No, It hasn’t been easy, but I’m getting through life one day at a time. I’m happy to share my experiences because they may be of interest to many individuals. Again, my ultimate goal is to provide a judgment-free healing atmosphere for those who are struggling to express themselves in a world that excludes them.

As you know, we’re big fans of Speaklyfe Worldwide. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
SpeakLyfe Worldwide began in 2015 as just a simple saying. I would comment #SpeakLyfe on many of my follower’s posts when they were speaking positive words on their platforms. Later, in 2017, a colleague acknowledge me as the SpeakLyfe Advocate. Thus, the platform was born. I co-hosted my first event in Atlanta, GA. I later went on to co-host many other events under the name. During the heart of the pandemic in 2020, I released my first single entitled, “SpeakLyfe.” This was very sentimental to me as at that time the world was in an uproar due to the death of George Floyd and countless others stemming from police brutality alongside Covid-19. The song is currently available on all major platforms. In the same year, I had numerous people ask me or suggest I host my own podcast. March 2020 SpeakLyfe Talks began.

Oh, the trial and error I’ve experienced HUNTY lol. I am still learning this podcast thing so I started by going live every night at 8 or 9 pm est (I had no structure so I was all over the place literally). Then it went down to three days a week. I finally began to understand how valuable my time was and how important it is to not spread myself thin.

Plus, I really love it. Now, SpeakLyfe Talks is available every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. That gives me enough time to properly prepare and give my listeners time to really gather and sit with the conversations. I’ll also add live interviews on my platform. I’m really excited about that.

SpeakLyfe Talks will Relaunch on the second Friday of 2023. We are celebrating YEAR 2!!!!

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Just remember to TAKE YOUR TIME in whatever you seek to achieve. Society will have you believe you’re on the same time structure as everyone else. NOPE! Your time has been strategically crafted by God. You’ll understand that the more you build in your spiritual walk with God. Overall, building your Godfidence. (God + Confidence = where all-knowing resides)
