Meet Sarah Louise

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Louise. Sarah was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Rachel Sellick.

Sarah , thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
Hi I have always loved singing from an early age of 4 when I recorded myself making up songs on a tape recorder. It was my favourite thing to do when my friends came round too I think they got sick of me singing all the time.

I have always loved to entertain and I found myself singing in a bar as a teenager where I worked and people told me I was a born performer and that gave me to confidence to go forward with it.

I was in a rock band, country band and had my first gig when I was 18 and my Grandad helped me make my backing tracks and came shopping with me for my first PA a very special moment.

I have only in recent years learnt how to play guitar and pubish my own songs and I really don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner as it really is the best feeling being able to share stories and help others through music

Please talk to us about your music.
I have created many albums for charities and like to add my own stamp to cover songs but there is something so special about writing original songs for a special cause and one in particular I am proud of is “Fly Free Little One” for Sands Baby loss Charity I make sure I sing it at every gig because it always touches someone’s heart or helps them to deal with grief knowing they are not alone. All my music is on all streaming platforms and I plan to create and release at least one new song a month this year ! I have so many songs to share it’s about the right recording process and the right environment. I would love to record with a real gospel choir this year as.I love harmonies and beautiful singing from the soul. I have a new covers album coming out 14/4 called Dreamers Country which are remakes of country songs in an acoustic style for my audience which they have chosen.

So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Rachel Sellick and Scarlet River PR and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Scarlet River PR.
I love Scarlet River and working with Rachel takes so much pressure off of me as an independent artist I feel she has my back and I can discuss new ideas about releases with her and then she will give me the confidence to proceed.

I found them on Instagram as they were always popping up on my friends feeds so I reached out to them for help and have not looked back.

Sometimes I really stretch myself budget wise but I just know that in my heart eventually it will all pay off as my songs are only getting better and my audience is building daily and this gives me confidence to carry on and I know Scarlet River Pr is with me 100o%
