Daily Inspiration: Meet Paul McDonald

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul McDonald.

Hi Paul, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Paul McDonald. I’m originally from Huntsville, Alabama.

I’ve been a touring artist/songwriter for the past 20 years. Fronting different bands and projects throughout.

Currently live in East Nashville & have been there for over a decade. I’m finishing up a new solo album this month and plan on touring heavily in 2024.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There are always struggles. Life comes in waves. I’ve had some beautiful moments over the years along with a lot of lows. A lot of paying dues….a lot of hard work….but that’s all part of it. It’s the reason I am who I am today.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Stay true to yourself. Be the hardest working person in the room and keep showing up for yourself and your community.
