Check Out Daniela Bernabei-Grassi’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniela Bernabei-Grassi.

Hi Daniela, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my photography journey while I was in the Marine Corps back in 2020. I had a Sony Cybershot so a relatively basic point-and-shoot camera. As I started to have a growing passion for photography, I knew I had to upgrade my kit. Not too long into 2021, I purchased the camera I use today: the Nikon D5600.

Through my time with this camera, I have been able to capture captivating scenes, with a primary focus being on concert photography. Recently, I was able to get some stunning shots of Lori Rayne, a Nashville-based country music singer/songwriter, to help propel my portfolio.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Although I have been a self-taught photographer for about three years, it’s had a lot of challenges.

Mainly with clientele as I moved to Alabama not too long ago. The adjustment took a hard hit so I’ve been working hard at advertising to build my basis back up.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I think the thing that sets me apart as a photographer is how I keep prices relatively low. Being that it’s not my primary source of income, I don’t see much reason to charge much.

I want to give someone something that makes them smile and cherish it every time they look back on that memory.

Almost every client I’ve had the pleasure to work with notes that I am a charismatic person and a joy to be around.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I think my ability to manage my time and work within my available resources are the two most important things to my success thus far.
