Exploring Life & Business with Keterri Shuford of Nurture House Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keterri Shuford.

Hi Keterri, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Nurture House Group started when three women, myself, Kirsha Wilson-Smith, and Dr. Myrtis Randolph decided to come together to impact the lives of youth in our community after realizing we all had the same vision for an organization. We partnered with organizations such as 4-H, parks and recreation, and the Jet Program with the Clarksville Police Department to name a few.

With their support, we have been able to accomplish so much in such a short amount of time. We are dedicated to our mission of supporting the advancement and enrichment of youth without opportunity and we are confident that Nurture House Group will be the encouraging, goal-driven environment that today’s youth need to succeed.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We have been blessed to have met so many amazing people while starting Nurture House Group and these connections have made the process easier.

We have our challenges like anyone else but the work that we are doing outweighs any hardships we could ever face.

Guiding children to their full potential and encouraging purposeful living will always be the ultimate reward.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Nurture House Group?
