Meet Courtney Woodard of Blonde Threads Mobile Boutique + Hat Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Woodard.

Hi Courtney, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
During the early months of 2020, my husband was driving in his hometown and found an old step van.

He knew my dream was to have a boutique- we wanted something I could do part-time as a “hobby”. We bought the old step van that was once a uniform van and turned it into my very own mobile boutique. I now get to bring my own style city to city in my little van!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a business is so rewarding and hard at the same time. It was so overwhelming making sure everything was perfect at all times – while also being my own marketing team and trying to get my name out there.

So many amazing small businesses gave me great advice on being your own boss, advertising, and everything in between. I’m so thankful for all the amazing advice given- it’s amazing how all small businesses love helping each other. We all just want to see each other succeed.

Blonde Threads Mobile Boutique + Hat Bar specializes in unique fashion and custom hat making. We strive to make women feel beautiful and express their self in whatever their wearing! What sets us apart from other boutiques is our custom hat bar- We started our hat bar in October 2022 and have been very thankful for the amazing support!
