Inspiring Conversations with Riley Deane of Gray Fox Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Riley Deane.

Hi Riley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a local realtor and native to the Middle Tennessee area – specifically Franklin!

I graduated college from Ole Miss in 2018 with a hospitality management degree and went into sales after graduation but I have always had a passion for all things HOME – interior design, architecture, homemaking, hosting, and gathering (all the things) which lead me to pursue Real Estate.

I believe that your home is truly where your heart is – it’s where lives are lived and memories are made so I count it as a huge honor to be just a small part of helping people to find their HOME!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The hardest obstacle was me. It turns out I was the one holding myself back the whole time!

Getting into real estate has always been a desire of my heart but I kept putting it off with the fear of failing. I took a leap of faith about a year ago and decided to go all in. It has been the biggest blessing since. I know that I’m walking in my calling!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Gray Fox Realty?
I work for Gray Fox Realty located in Downtown Franklin. We are unique from other real estate agencies in that we are a full-service, FLAT RATE FEE brokerage. That means that we sell your home for a flat rate fee vs. charging the typical 3 percent.

Our fee starts at $995 for homes under 1,500 square feet, to $2,495 for homes 1,500-3,500 square feet, and so on.

We are full service so we do everything another agent would do – we just do it for less and save our clients thousands of dollars. We have saved our clients over 4 million dollars in commission fees!!

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
As a little girl, I would walk through open houses on the weekends for fun. If you told 10-year-old me where I would be today – I wouldn’t believe you. I have to keep pinching myself!
