Today, we’d like to introduce you to Erin Woodward. Erin was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Keshia Aliff.

Erin , thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
I’m a Nashville resident who was in desperate need of a reliable dog groomer.

Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
I lead a very busy life with little time for maintenance on myself, let alone my goldendoodle, who has many needs, the needs of a person! Haircuts, doctors appointments, dentist appointments, play dates, like a toddler – all the things. I found Gorgeous Mother Puppers Mobile Dog Grooming in Nashville, Tennessee, and it changed my life.

When I first met Keshia, I was a bit frantic. I rushed home to get my dog groomed, met Keshia at her grooming van right outside my front door. I live in a gated community downtown Nashville in Germantown. I knew my pup was a bit tangled, so my biggest concern was that he would be shaved, and I didn’t want him shaved. His coat is gorgeous and requires a lot of upkeep. I brush him every day, to the best of my ability, but he needs professional assistance because his undercoat is so thick and he’s ginormous and fluffy. It was my fault for waiting so long in between grooms. Keshia could tell I was intensely worried and she was so kind and calming in response to my anxiety. She just said, “if you’re willing to work with me on time and price, I will do all I can to detangle him, so long as he tolerates it well.” Without hesitation I said, yes! I was just so relieved that she cared enough to take the time. Most groomers would not have that level of patience, and their go-to is to shave the dog. I understand why this is, many people don’t want to pay for the time that goes in to washing and brushing out the tangles, or the dog doesn’t react well, and often the business doesn’t want to deal with customers like me, but Keshia didn’t hesitate to accommodate. I was stunned and grateful! I instantly rebooked her and have been rebooking her every 5-6 weeks alternating baths and grooms to keep him in the best shape. Keshia also has a vet tech background, so she notices things above and beyond, like an area on his body to keep an eye on and she told me what to ask and tell the vet. That’s invaluable to me. I’ve worked with Keshia going on a year now and I won’t go anywhere else. Keshia loves my pup so much, to honor him, she made him the mascot of her mobile grooming business.
