Today we’d like to introduce you to Emani Mhoon.
Hi Emani, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a Nashville content creator by way of New Jersey, and I create luxury travel/spa content. As a young, single Haitian American woman navigating the pressures of corporate life, my content showcases how I prioritize traveling and my mental and emotional well-being. I was so grateful to have many opportunities in my life in which I was exposed to luxury experiences (i.e. visiting spas, traveling across the world, etc.)
As a woman of color, I want young women of color to feel inspired and deserving of these elevated experiences. So I leverage my platform to inspire women to travel and romanticize life. My dream is to partner with luxury brands as I continue to use my platform to capture the luxury and top-tier experiences designed to elevate our lives.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a woman of color, not seeing many women that you can connect with and relate to living/modeling the life you desire can be discouraging. But also, as a woman trying to highlight these experiences while not growing up “wealthy,” I often feel imposter syndrome being in these spaces.
However; as my perspective has evolved and realized that we are all deserving of elevated experiences this has become a pillar behind my platform in exposing and empowering other women of color to these “luxury” elevated experiences.
What’s next?
My dream is to partner with luxury brands as I continue to use my platform to capture the luxury and top-tier experiences designed to elevate our lives.
