Today we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Wagner.
Hi Chloe, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started baking about a year ago when I got my first stand mixer! I knew very little about baking but I quickly found my passion. I knew I had a long road ahead but I spent all my free time learning different tips and tricks to make the perfect baked goods!
As of today, I have catered children’s birthday parties and will soon be catering my first wedding. I still have plenty of room to grow but I am excited to see where my new passion of baking can take me!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Learning how to bake has not been a smooth road! I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to flavor and texture so I am my toughest critic.
My biggest struggle was understanding how different ingredients can drastically change flavor and consistency.
Baking is a science so understanding the science has been my biggest speed bump!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Chloe’s Sweet Spot is a side job that I aspire to make my full-time job. I am currently an HR Specialist for Kroger in the Nashville area. Every day when I get off work, I spend the rest of the day baking in my kitchen at home. I consider myself a part-time home baker!
I specialize in cupcakes! I am most proud of the flavors of my cupcakes. I offer a variety of flavors but what sets my cupcakes apart is the texture/consistency. I pride myself on creating moist and delicate cakes!
What matters most to you?
Pleasing my customers/consumers is what matters to me most!
Nothing makes me happier than seeing people smile when they taste how wonderful Chloe’s Sweet Spot truly is! It is so rewarding to see all my hard work being thoroughly enjoyed by those tasting it!
