Today we’d like to introduce you to Corey Hammonds.
Hi Corey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My career started in the banking industry in 2003. I’ve always been interested in Real Estate and Math is a subject matter that came pretty naturally to me. As my banking career progressed, I was introduced to commercial appraisals.
From there, my plan of opening an all-inclusive boutique-style real estate solutions company comprised of brokerage, appraisal, consulting, and development services.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s an arduous task to become a Certified General Appraisal. It’s a lot of time and money and the entire process takes about 4 years to complete. Another obstacle my company is still trying to overcome is the Christmas Day bombing of 2020 which destroyed my office on 2nd Ave.
