Check Out Issa Young’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Issa Young.

Hi Issa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m Issa, most of the world knows me as Eboni.

The name Issa came from the “many” trades and talents that I have. Issa whatever you need it to be. I’m a Model, actress, dancer, chef, content creator, medical assistant, and business consultant just to name a few. My inspiration for the media world began when I was little as an actor and dancer in a production put on by Salam.

Salam is a performing arts camp here in Nashville. They taught me so much. I was in about 6 different productions with this camp. I soon started to enter into the pageant world, which taught me confidence. And how to take great pictures. I learned many of my other trades from my family growing up.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Whew, one thing I can say, is this has not been an easy road. When you have so many talents it’s hard to pick just one. Modeling has been the most expensive career to achieve.

I have lost roughly about 8 thousand dollars to be scammed with modeling. It’s a really cruel world out there. Now that I know how to root out the scams, it has been a lot easier for me.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
With all the many talents that I do. I’d say I’m more known for my modeling and dancing. I have traveled to many different cities and states just for model and or dancing. I have walked 15+ shows including LAFW, and MIAFW. I’ve been lucky to meet so many great models and influencers with is my favorite part.

One of the things I’m most proud of is being able to be a model coach. Being able to pass down the skills that were taught to me to make someone else as great or even better than I am. I believe what sets me apart from most, is my genuine spirit, confidence, and talent. “ISSA VIBE” all time.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, there was nothing I didn’t do. From cheerleading to soccer, performing arts, and working. I was a busy bee. In my friend group, I was the over protector, and “no S**t taking friend.

Everyone came to me with their problems. And still do to this day. I still have friends from childhood over 20+ years. I was the person you could always count on. I was a young leader, which even started with being the president of my youth group at church, at just the age of 13.
