Hi Josh, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sure, I grew up on a farm in the English countryside. I listened to a lot of music like Springsteen, Tom Petty, Neil Young, etc. and I knew from a young age that I wanted to make music and hopefully move people the way that my favorite artists had moved me.

I left home when I was 17 to go to music school in Guildford (near London) and then later moved to Brighton to continue learning and working on my music. I signed my first record deal when I was 21 and ever since then I have been following my dream of being a professional musician.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life and work are littered with struggles. There are big ones and there are day-to-day small ones. I am a big believer that there is no light without shade so when I’m going through something hard I know that I just have to keep pushing because when the light comes it will feel even better as it’s been juxtaposed by the dark.

But honestly, I try not to focus on struggles, I know that seems easy to say but I just keep my head down and focus on all the great stuff around me. Nashville is great for that as there’s so much going on and so much talent to learn from.
