Rising Stars: Meet Kaylan Rhoades

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylan Rhoades.

Hi Kaylan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started in Pennsylvania, playing hockey all through college. After graduation, I started as an accountant which I did for 10 years.

During my time as an accountant, I got my real estate license in 2014. This year, I got my license in Tennessee and enjoy talking with clients and helping them find their dream homes.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been far from a smooth road. I had some medical issues arise in 2017 that made me step away from accounting and real estate for almost a year.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Currently, I am a real estate agent in the greater Nashville area.

I specialize in residential real estate, helping families find a home that suits them. I am most proud of getting my real estate license in 2 states as well as juggling the accounting there.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
For the most part, I am lucky to have such a supportive family and co-workers.

They always go out of their way to help me in any way possible. I was also lucky to get my first accounting job out of college because I know how hard it can be with no experience.
