Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Dupriest.

Danielle Dupriest

Hi Danielle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is certainly unique, but in comparison to other successful entrepreneurs not significantly different. It’s filled with wealth and poverty, the highest of highs and lowest of lows, a lot of determination and grit, and every once in a while, some sprinkled in luck from the universe.

Twenty-three years of experience, 13 industries, six degrees, three certifications, and one driven individual have all led to my dream job, running a family business in an industry that allows me both time in the office and out in the field, solving big problems, making huge impacts in the world.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey so far has been like a rollercoaster, full of unexpected twists and turns that kept me on my toes. There have been so many learning opportunities along the way that I’ve lost count, and I’m sure there are plenty more to come.

What’s been my rock through it all? Well, it’s a mix of two things: my unshakeable belief in myself and keeping it real with the amazing people around me. The folks in my corner have been like a superpower, providing strength and support when I needed it the most.

I’ve found that no matter how daunting or emotional the journey gets, trusting yourself is key. Recognizing when it’s time to step into a new chapter takes guts, but it’s the kind of courage that opens up new doors and pathways.

So, my advice to anyone going through a bumpy ride is simple: trust yourself, keep it real with the people around you, and don’t be afraid to make room for new adventures. It’s the best way to grow and discover what you’re truly capable of.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about GLCC?

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
You know, when I look back at my childhood, there are these two snapshots that have always stood out. It’s funny how those seemingly ordinary moments turn out to be the ones that stick with you the most.

The first one, well, it’s a photo of me sleeping in a drawer as a kid. My mom used to tell me that whenever we were away from home, I’d pull out a drawer, toss in a pillow, blanket, and my favorite stuffed animal, and just conk out. Initially, she thought it was something she needed to fix, but then she realized it was just me doing my thing. I guess it was my way of creating my little sanctuary wherever we went.

The second one, though, is probably my favorite. There’s this picture of me, not even two years old, sitting at the helm of a boat with my dad. I’ve got this determined look on my face like I’m the captain of the ship, and my dad is in the background, laughing his head off. We were heading out to go shelling, and in my tiny toddler mind, I was convinced I could drive the boat solo. I don’t even think I was speaking in full sentences yet, but hey, drive and determination started early for me!

What’s interesting about both these memories is the message my parents consistently shared with me: “We knew you would always be okay. Believe in yourself.” It wasn’t just words; it was the freedom they gave me to find my way, to be independent from the get-go. That drawer became my little fortress, and that boat became a symbol of trust and encouragement.

Now, when I look back, I realize those moments set the stage for the kind of person I am today. The belief instilled in me by my parents, that unwavering strength, it’s been my guiding light. It’s like they gave me this foundation of self-assurance and resilience that has stuck with me throughout my life.
