Daily Inspiration: Meet Briley Dodge

Today we’d like to introduce you to Briley Dodge.

Briley Dodge

Briley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
A few years ago, I began selling my family’s farm-raised freezer beef (Beech Hill Beef) from home.

Last year, I opened The Local Farmer in Pulaski as a place for not only me but 50+ other farmers, local bakers, and crafters to sell their products year-round!

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One challenge I face daily is refuting all of the misinformation about agriculture that is commonly shared on social media.

I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Our specialty is our locally raised beef. We sell quarter, half, and whole beef packages or individual cuts.

We also offer pork, chicken, lamb, baked goods, milk, cheese, eggs, jellies, and so much more all sourced from local farms. In the back of our store, you can find our deli offering sandwiches, salad, and soup made with local ingredients. We are your one-stop farm stand in the middle of town.
