Check Out BIZZY’s Story

Today, we’d like to introduce you to BIZZY.

BIZZY

Hi BIZZY, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I released my first song, “Anybody,” about a year and a half ago. It went viral on TikTok, which was surreal because it gave me a platform quickly. Since then, I have continued writing and releasing as much music as possible!

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
I wouldn’t say smooth, but it has been fun! I think ups and downs come with everything in life.

The biggest hurdle I feel I’m facing is staying in my lane. I get so caught up in what others are doing, and I start to stress that I’m not doing enough or should be doing it differently. It’s different for everyone, and if I just focus on my reality, things are so much more enjoyable.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a singer-songwriter! What “sets me apart” sounds weird to say, haha. Rather, I think I do well to stay as honest and authentic as possible when I’m writing my music.

I treat it like it’s my journal without the intention of anyone hearing it. I find when I do that, people relate to it so much more. Humans go through many of the same emotions and feelings at different times and circumstances.

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Life is all about risks and stepping out of our comfort zones. A quote says, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone”, and I stand by that 100%. All the best things to happen to me started with me taking a risk or a chance on myself or something. It’s funny to think about it now, but I used to be DEATHLY afraid of singing in front of people.

My stage fright was off the charts. Every time I would get on a stage, it felt like the biggest risk of all time, but if I had not continued to put myself out there and take the risk, I wouldn’t be where I am today. It’s always worth it.
