Exploring Life & Business with Kyle Harris of Fearless Talent Management

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Harris.

Kyle Harris

Hi Kyle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
To get the full picture of how I arrived at founding Fearless Talent Management, let’s take it back to Las Vegas in 2013. That’s where my professional journey kicked off in earnest, working in marketing and branding for the Stratosphere Hotel and Jon Taffer. It was an intense, hands-on education on how to build a brand’s presence, especially in the fast-paced world of social media.

Parallel to this, I was carving out my space as a content creator on Vine and YouTube. It wasn’t just a hobby; it became a significant chapter of my life, one where I managed to grow a following of over 100,000 people before Vine shuttered. This experience was invaluable—it wasn’t just about the numbers but about learning to connect with an audience, understanding the creator economy, and navigating the intricacies of social platforms.

This blend of professional marketing work and personal content creation laid the groundwork for what would come next. I wasn’t just promoting brands; I was becoming one. And as I honed my audience engagement and storytelling skills, I launched Vegas Live Sessions. Starting from my living room, this event grew into a beacon for local musicians in Las Vegas, demonstrating the power of organic marketing and the importance of community in the entertainment world.

Then, in 2019, I moved to Nashville. This wasn’t just a change of scenery; it marked a shift into acting, a field that had always intrigued me. Here, while still leveraging my marketing and branding skills with clients like Randy Houser, Mitch Rossell, Brad Paisley, Chris Young, and a mayoral candidate, I also dove into the acting world. This phase wasn’t just about performing; it was about understanding the entertainment industry from the inside.

Each step of my journey, from marketing expert and content creator to event organizer and actor, has been about storytelling, building connections, and understanding the entertainment industry’s multifaceted nature. So, when I decided to transition into talent management, it felt like all these experiences were converging.

Founding Fearless Talent Management wasn’t just a career change; it was the next logical step in a journey that had been all about understanding and fostering talent, whether it was my own or that of a brand or a fellow creator. Every skill I’d developed—branding, social media strategy, content creation, community building, and firsthand acting experience—now informs how I support and guide the actors I work with.

This journey has equipped me with a unique perspective on what actors need to succeed and how to help them navigate the complexities of this industry. As I look to the future with Fearless Talent Management, I’m excited to apply everything I’ve learned to help our talent not just succeed but thrive.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned. Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, the road to where I am today with Fearless Talent Management has been anything but smooth. It’s been a journey of hits and misses, learning on the go, and figuring things out as I moved forward.

Entering the talent management side of the industry means I’m stepping into somewhat unfamiliar territory again. I’ve got a solid background in marketing and branding, sure, but now I’m facing the task of building new relationships with casting directors and agents, diving deep into the ethics of talent management, and so much more.

The last decade was incredible for growth, creativity, and seeing my projects come to life and touch people’s lives. Yet, it’s been filled with its fair share of struggles and moments of doubt. I’ve faced several crossroads, wondering if I should switch gears entirely—considering everything from personal training to returning to school or even enlisting in the military. I guess it was my way of searching for that ‘thing’ that felt right, where I belonged.

Making the leap to start Fearless Talent Management felt like the next step, but it wasn’t a decision I made lightly or alone. Jenna, my fiancée, has been my rock. She saw something I hadn’t seen in myself and encouraged me to just go for it. She believed in me when I needed it most. And it wasn’t just her; friends and colleagues in the industry also nudged me toward this path, seeing in me the potential to be a great manager.

So, here I am, beginning what I know will be an incredible journey with Fearless Talent Management. I’m filled with nerves and excitement, ready to learn everything from scratch and help actors find their way. It’s a fresh start, and I’m all in.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
If there’s one thing I’d love to leave your readers with, it’s this: Embrace the uncertainty. Looking back over the last decade, from when I started in social media at 23 to where I am now at 33, leading Fearless Talent Management, it’s clear that every single experience has been a stepping stone to where I am today. Even when the path seemed unclear, everything I’ve learned and every challenge I’ve faced has been building me up, preparing me for this moment.

It’s easy to feel lost or uncertain about your direction in life, especially when you’re ambitious and passionate but not quite sure where you’re headed. But here’s the thing—those feelings are part of the journey. Every experience, whether it feels significant at the time or not, is adding to your story, equipping you with skills, insights, and lessons that you’ll draw on later.

So, if anyone is wondering if they’re on the right path or what their next move should be, remember to trust the process. As cliché as it sounds, it’s true. We can’t foresee where we’ll be a year from now, let alone a decade, but if there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that every step, every misstep, and every success is guiding you to where you’re meant to be.

Stay open to the experiences life throws your way, and don’t be afraid to pivot when something feels right. Ten years ago, I couldn’t have predicted that I’d be here, running my talent management agency. But every decision, every risk, and every leap of faith was worth it. Keep trusting the process, stay committed to your growth, and believe in your journey. Your path will unfold just as it’s meant to, leading you to exactly where you’re supposed to be.
