Hi Danielle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
According to my dear Mother, I was quite the little diva even before making my grand entrance into this world! I was belting out tunes and serenading the amniotic fluid crowd from the comfort of her womb. Talk about a captive audience! 🙂 My passion for music was ingrained from the very beginning!
As a tiny tot barely 3 years old, I was unleashing vocal fury on my “high chair throne stage” and a crowd full of stuffed animals forced to endure the ear-splitting serenade. Little did I know the profound impact those moments would have. It propelled me, a mere 7-year-old, to boldly stand before a few hundred people and sing my first solo in church. That defining moment ignited a passion fueling my path as a vocal performer.
That performance was a game-changer, pushing me forward with unstoppable momentum. I started receiving invitations to sing at other churches, and by the age of 12, I was already traveling and performing as a singer.
City lights and big dreams electrified my ambition. I knew exactly what I had to do – move to Nashville and chase my aspirations. At 19, I didn’t hesitate; I took the risk head-on and packed my bags, ready to conquer the world with BIG determination.
Let’s face it, life rarely goes according to plan. I took a bold step when I first settled in Nashville by becoming a hip-hop dancer for a rap artist. It wasn’t the conventional path, but I welcomed the challenge. Deviating from the expected is often necessary to forge your unique adventure.
From that point, I joined a band, and we secured a deal with an independent Christian record label based in LA. The music industry is a ruthless grind, and our venture was a rollercoaster of extremes. We conquered soaring heights – touring across the U.S., Australia, and Canada, performing on television shows, opening for legends like MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Backstreet Boys, and NSYNC, and even scoring a #1 hit on the Christian rock charts. But we also endured crushing lows – financial hardship, getting duped by a shady booking agent sending us out on a fraudulent tour, facing a deluge of empty promises that never materialized, and being deceived by unscrupulous individuals.
Rock and roll courses through my veins, an integral part of my very being. The relentless pursuit of excellence in music, vocals, and performances burns within me like an unquenchable fire, driving me to seek avenues that align with my true musical aspirations.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course, nothing good in life comes without a little elbow grease! 😉 Rockin’ ain’t no walk in the park, that’s a fact.
Obstacles, those unwelcomed party crashers, will try their best to make us abandon our goals and dreams, but we won’t let them!!
I’ve faced numerous obstacles, but one stands out as particularly egregious. Being sent on a supposed 8-week tour, only to discover it was a complete fabrication – the booking agent had concocted fake contracts and details.
There were also music producers insistent on molding me into personas that didn’t align with my true self. And I was denied significant opportunities because I refused to compromise my values and integrity.
I may not have taken the easy road, but I can say with certainty that I’ve remained true to myself, and that is the greatest victory of all!
Through these trials and tribulations, I’ve earned a PhD in resilience and a black belt in finding creative solutions. These hard-earned skills have instilled in me confidence and determination to keep pressing forward, one step at a time.
The real prize is the wild ride we take to get there! It’s like going on a rollercoaster, but instead of screaming and throwing up, you’re actually learning and growing as a person.
It is in the struggle, the perseverance, and the moments of self-discovery that we find the true meaning and fulfillment in our pursuits. The end goal may ignite our initial passion, but it is the process that leaves an indelible mark on who we become.

I’ve been known for being the ultimate hype-woman, encouraging people to bet on themselves and to forget about what society thinks – those narrow-minded views ain’t got nothin’ on your ambitions. 🙂 It’s your life, and you get to call the shots!!

It’s a rallying cry to reject conformity, break free from societal constraints, and unapologetically chase your dreams. Take charge, forge your own path, and start the revolution within.
I have been on a relentless pursuit of artistic growth and evolution. I’ve immersed myself in honing my craft through dedicated coursework and practice. I am peeling back the layers and revealing the artist I was always meant to be.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Growing up, my parents never placed limits on my aspirations. Instead, they fostered an environment where I felt empowered to explore my passions and pursue my wildest ambitions. They were there to cheer me on, offering guidance and reassurance every step of the way.
My brother Aaron has been a constant support throughout my life and musical pursuits. Beyond being a sibling, Aaron has acted as a mentor, offering valuable insights.
The right team that fully believes in you is essential for success. They are not just passive observers, but active participants in your journey, offering valuable insights, constructive feedback, and confidence in your abilities.
