From swinging hammers and learning the intricacies of the trade at a young age, to a near decade of experience in residential and commercial fence contracting, he leads our team to consistently provide an unmatched client experience and has garnered Heron Building Co a five star reputation and loyalty among our community and wonderful clients.
Now, we are a husband and wife team, combining our backgrounds and skills to operate Heron Building Co. With Jake’s extensive experience in fence contracting and outdoor craftsmanship, alongside Heather’s background in the creative industry, we bring a unique design forward approach to each project.
As a premier fence company in Nashville & Franklin Tennessee, we cater to luxury homeowners and specialize in design-forward fencing services with a focus on premium materials, top-notch craftsmanship, and above and beyond customer service. As a company, our greatest passion lies in joyfully serving and creating outdoor environments that inspire others to enjoy nature and live more life outside.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Growing a business comes with many challenges. As a local, family owned and operated business, we are committed to growing our company organically with best practices, not cutting corners, and building on authentic relationships. This has often come with a higher investment of time & resources. But we are so grateful to each of our amazing clients, trade partners, and industry friends that have supported us and referred us to their friends, family, and clients. We wouldn’t have it any other way! Overall, it has been a very rewarding trajectory of growth.
