As someone born and raised in Nashville, it was incredibly important for me to come back to my hometown after studying in Chattanooga. In 2019, I started Home-Aid Moving with just a friend and a rented truck from a local companies like Uhual and Penske

Our journey began with late nights and hard work, but our dedication paid off. Today, we’ve grown into a six-figure business with 11 team members, 2 trucks, and trailers. Our success is rooted in our commitment to delivering top-notch moving services with integrity and a smile. We’re proud to serve our community that we grew up in and make every move as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges has been operating at the speed of cash. From the start, we realized our service quality was a step above the rest, which meant investing heavily in training to maintain those high standards. This commitment to excellence has required resources.

Choosing not to go into debt made scaling tougher, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. Moving is inherently challenging, and our journey has had its bumps. It hasn’t been the smoothest road, but we’ve been extremely blessed and have enjoyed every step of the way. Our hard work and dedication have paid off, allowing us to grow steadily and continue providing top-notch services to our community.
