Life & Work with Panos Kappos of Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Panos Kappos

Hi Panos, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

I’m Panos Kappos, a singer/songwriter/performer originally from Montreal Canada, and now an American citizen, residing in Nashville. My songwriting artistry began very early on, in my early 20s, touring with a major band across North America and co-writing songs with an assembly of ingenious mentors that left me inspired. I later embarked on a new journey, that led me to New York where my faith and love for God began and became the center of my life. As an ambassador for Christ and often referred to as a “musicianary” (One who has been called to use their musical gifts, skills, and talent to worship and Glorify God, boldly sharing the gospel of Christ through music and praise.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The Path has not always been an easy one. I’ve struggled with trying to fit into the molds and stereotypes of the music industry because I was not ever one to follow the trends, but on the contrary, I always strived to have a unique staple sound of my own.

Some of my struggles were more of trying to find my identity and how to serve others with the talent of music, artistry, and performance. Once I embraced it and trusted the process, that’s when the doors began to fling open for me, and fostering the talents ebbed and flowed.
There were times I had to contend and wrestle with sicknesses, tribulations, heartache, afflictions and adversity, but my faith in Jesus Christ I was able to overcome with continual victory and emancipation.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work entails writing music, arranging, co-producing soundscapes, and performing live. Im mostly proud that I never compromised or sold myself short, I always remained true to my vision and calling in life., which was to be a healer with words.
I’m most proud of…, that I continue to put out music that is always changing and evolving and resonating with people from different cultures and backgrounds throughout the globe.

what sets me apart is that I try to be authentic, and real with no pretense. Basically, what you see and hear is what I am. I am the clay, and He is the potter, I am the canvas, and He is the paintbrush. I am the ship, and He is the rudder. I am the sponge and He is the water. I’m just the vessel, the instrument, the oracle by which He works though 🙂

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Some of the books that inspired me in my journey have been “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren, “The Battlefield Of The Mind: by Joyce Meyer, “Healing The Sick” by T.L. Osborn and my favorite book of all, the Bible, which has been my moral compass and model.
