Today we’d like to introduce you to Owen Tower

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The Tower Brothers, Jackson and Owen Tower, began their musical adventure as childhood collaborators at a very young age, recording and release their first songs out of Jacksons bedroom. After high school, they packed their bags and relocated to Boston and officially formed the Tower Brothers in 2022 with close friend Thomas Prescott, taking on the Boston music scene.

Their lineup solidified with the addition of Quinten Cohen, bringing a unique rhythm to the music. In 2023, the brothers moved to Nashville, rooming together in a band house to immerse themselves in the city’s musical community.

From their early collaborations to their current musical endeavors, the Tower Brothers stay defined by their brotherly bond, passion for music, and their combined drive to have their music heard by millions.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We have faced many challenges on our journey so far. In the beginning Jackson and myself, Owen, moved to Nashville several months before Thomas and Quinten. This made collaboration very difficult.

Funding projects has been difficult on the wallets. Shooting music videos, paying for studio time, and submitting music for playlisting, require creative solutions.

We have succeeded and failed with lots of different ideas on how to bring our studio sound to the stage and capture hopefully and overwhelming sound for an audience

Learning the new city and navigating its extremely talent music scene has been a challenging experience but a rewarding one as well. We’ve been very lucky to get the gigs and opportunities we’ve had so far.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
The creative process of the Tower Brothers starts with Owen and Jackson, who write the songs together drawing from each others shared and personal experiences. Jackson handles the music production, bringing the songs to life with his unique expertise. They spend countless nights practicing in their garage, lovingly renamed the “band cave” where they are truly their selves.

Outside of the art, Owen manages communications for the group, handling bookings and promotions as well as other various tasks. Jackson mixes and masters new tracks and writes arrangements and charts for their live performances. Thomas and Quinten lend their minds and perspectives into each and every creative process adding a unique contrast to their meticulous production and distinctive new age sound.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years we see ourselves being self sustaining musicians, touring, playing hundreds and hundreds of sweaty standing rooms all over the world. And obviously write lots and lots more music.
