Hi Ashley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After competing twice in the fitness industry and dedicating years to promoting health and wellness, my journey took a surprising turn when I became pregnant with my first.
Unfortunately, a major supplement company I was part of decided to drop me from their team. Although it was a tough experience, it motivated me to explore new opportunities.
I saw a real need for genuine recommendations on children’s products and family-friendly travel destinations. Embracing my new role as a mom, I began sharing products that I found valuable for families. My content naturally expanded to include our family adventures to kid-friendly vacation spots, offering tips and insights that other parents could benefit from.
Through my Instagram, I aim to inspire and support other families by providing honest reviews and highlighting experiences that make family life more enjoyable and manageable. My goal is to create a trusted space where parents can find useful information, whether they’re searching for the best products for their children or planning their next family trip. This journey has allowed me to connect with a community of like-minded individuals, blending my passion for wellness and family life into a fulfilling career as an influencer.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Transitioning from the fitness industry to family-focused content had its challenges. Losing my sponsorship when I got pregnant was tough and felt like a major setback.
Starting over in a new niche meant building a new audience. I had to establish credibility in the world of children’s products and family travel. Balancing motherhood with content creation was another challenge, requiring a lot of planning and flexibility.
There were moments of self-doubt and trying to keep up with social media’s changing algorithms was stressful. Despite these struggles, they’ve taught me resilience and the importance of staying true to my passion. Each challenge has shaped my journey and made my successes even more rewarding.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in creating family-focused content, showcasing products such as kid products and kid-friendly travel destinations. My goal is to provide valuable insights and recommendations to other families. I’m known for my honest reviews, engaging travel tips, and relatable family experiences.
What I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built and being able to give my children the best life possible. Knowing that my work helps other families while providing for my own is incredibly rewarding.
What sets me apart is my authentic approach. As a mom myself, I only share products and destinations that I truly believe in and have tested with my own family. Alongside my content creation, I also work full-time at Philips healthcare as an incomplete case specialist. Balancing these roles allows me to stay grounded and connected with my audience, all while doing it for my children.
I want to also thank my husband for being my biggest supporter. His understanding of the hard work involved in being an influencer and his constant encouragement have been invaluable. I’m grateful for his unwavering support and partnership.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is traveling with my family. We would take long trips to different cities and landmarks, soaking in new experiences and cultures along the way. I loved the excitement of exploring new places, trying new foods, and learning about different histories and traditions. Those trips were more than just vacations; they were bonding experiences that brought us closer together and sparked my lifelong love for travel. Now, sharing that passion for adventure with my own family and helping others discover great travel destinations is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.
