Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Garramone
Hi Michelle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
A friend in Nashville wanted to release her album and didn’t know how to book her album release show, so I called venues in town and helped her promote her show, which sold out. That led to another band looking to release their album and play more shows, and another, and another. I was getting ready to graduate and caught the attention of a management company in Nashville because of my roster and the work I was doing. This led to a full-time job with the management company before I had even graduated. Once I graduated, they sent me on the road with their biggest artist where I was managing projects at a much higher level. Being one of the youngest “in the room” during those early days was both surreal and motivating, pushing me to continue growing in artist management.
As my career progressed, I took what I was learning at the management company and applied it to help my friends who reached out for help. I have always been passionate about independent music and artists and lended them a hand whenever I could. My reputation for developing independent artists in the indie music scene grew.
At a certain point it was time to go solo, help more artists and expand to help creative entrepreneurs with their start ups. I developed a passion to learn even more about helping people solve their problems, personal and professional, so I decided to get my Masters in Therapy. With my Masters I can apply everything I know about Psychology to developing creativity and help people help themselves to turn their art and their vision into business.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was proving myself in a competitive industry at a young age, especially when I was surrounded by more experienced professionals. I had to learn how to balance the creative and business sides of the music industry, so that the artists I worked with could thrive.
The biggest challenge has been adapting to the constant changes and innovations, especially with the rapid evolution of technology. When I started, physical albums and traditional promotion were still prevalent, but the rise of streaming and AI transformed everything. This could be overwhelming and daunting to artists, but I learned how to embrace these changes so I could help the artists I work with embrace them too without compromising their authenticity.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

We specialize in project management, distribution, and artist development, offering a wholistic approach that blends creativity with business strategy. Our services are designed to empower artists, whether they’re releasing their first album or looking to scale their careers.
One of the things I’m most proud of is using my expertise in business and therapy to turn artist’s creativity into a more wholistic approach to releasing music so they are set up for a sustainable, long term career. Integrating a therapeutic approach into our work helps artists overcome obstacles and harness their creative drive. It’s all about helping artists achieve their goals in a way that feels true to them.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
After diving deep into therapy and psychology, one thing became crystal clear: the clichés are spot on. You don’t need to glamorize mental health struggles to be an artist—some of the best, most authentic work comes from a healthy mind. The biggest takeaway? Prioritizing your mental and physical health isn’t just important; it’s non-negotiable. In an industry that can chew you up and spit you out, staying grounded and taking care of yourself is the ultimate key to resilience.
