Today we’d like to introduce you to Zach Griest
Hi Zach, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started as most entrepreneurs, from zero. I don’t have a business degree but I always had a vision and passion to be successful. I found my path through real estate. When I began as a real estate agent I would door knock over 100 doors a day in 100 degree Florida heat. During my first year I ended up paying my brokerage $21,000 in fees. I was determined to build a brokerage that didn’t tax agents to no end. I created Zach Taylor Real Estate. A real estate brokerage that only charges its agents one small fee per closing instead of taking a large percentage. After 3 short years we are over 400 agents across 4 states, TN, AL, GA, FL.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Building a business is never easy. I also say it’s similar to being in a boxing match. I will get punched in the face constantly but it’s how I react to it that determines if I win or not.

We’ve created a real estate brokerage for real estate agents that provides a different approach. We focus on 5 key areas to help real estate agents succeed. Those include tools, training, culture, leads, support and leads. When we can provide these 5 areas and give agents their money back it’s a win-win. Our motto is Keep The Money. When we don’t charge our agents large fees they can use those savings to reinvest back into their business, save for their families, and so much more. It’s about putting others before ourselves.
What matters most to you?
I love to help people. I’ve never been money or profit driven. What matters to me is impacting the lives of others. Too help them have a better life and see them succeed. When I get texts from our agents about the life changing money they make that’s the little things that continue to push me forward
