Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Clardy
Hi Courtney, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
“God chose this path for me.” That’s normally how I always begin my story about how I started and how I got to where I am now. Music and writing are my first loves and where my journey began—from being in choir, singing at church, and performing in the band. If it was related to music, I was there. When I got to college, my major was Recording Industry: Music Business. I just knew that I was going to be the best A&R and artist manager around. However, what started out as my major later became my minor as I pursued social work. I am now a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of TN. As a social worker with over 12 years of experience, I’ve had the honor to serve in many roles, focusing on parent education, criminal justice, and mental health. These varied experiences in my social work career led me to a path of providing psychotherapy services. Now, as a spiritual and mental wellness coach and consultant, I help individuals seeking personal growth and businesses aiming for improved productivity achieve their goals through expert guidance, unwavering support, and transformative empowerment.
In addition to my coaching and consulting work, I am a writer, published author of the affirmation book “Glow Up Sis! GLOW UP,” an empowerment speaker, and the proud host of the “Two Minutes of Your Time” podcast, where I guide listeners through meditation and prayer. I am also the visionary behind two exciting projects: the Endless Love Membership (originally founded in 2012) and the God is Kind Campaign.
I am extremely passionate about loving and supporting God’s people, helping them grow and improve their spiritual and mental wellness, and empowering them to become the best version of themselves while strengthening their relationship with God and their highest self.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This journey has been far from smooth. Although it has brought many hardships, those challenges have helped shape who I am today. I often tell people that I am human with human experiences, and life has brought much heartbreak, setbacks, disappointments, failures, and the unthinkable. I believe there is healing in transparency, so I often tell the life-changing story of losing my first child at the age of 23 as the result of a second-trimester miscarriage. I released a mini docuseries called “Journey to Joy” in 2015 where I discuss my healing journey. This series displays how God gives us beauty for ashes, meaning that every hard moment has to come to an end, and eventually, things do get better. I believe that as I continue to grow, I see how good things can get when we keep trusting and believing. Life hasn’t been without grief or trauma; however, I’ve been very intentional about my own spiritual and mental wellness practices as I help others with theirs. Struggles will always be present, but it’s about learning how to face those struggles so that we can continue to experience progression and operate in purpose.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As I mentioned earlier, I am a spiritual and mental wellness coach and consultant, as well as an empowerment speaker and author. As a coach and consultant, I assist individuals on their personal growth journeys and help businesses enhance their overall employee experience. I recently made the bold decision to answer my calling and operate as a full-time entrepreneur. I am really excited and extremely blessed to be in the startup stages of seeing my business bloom and grow. Along with my wellness coaching services, I offer a spiritual and mental wellness membership, Endless Love Membership, for women on a journey toward holistic well-being, personal growth, and positive transformation.
Any big plans?
My future plans include my business flourishing as I offer my spiritual and mental wellness coaching and consultation services to major corporations and government agencies looking to improve their wellness programs and systems for their employees. By doing so, I aim to help businesses enhance their overall productivity, increase revenue, and create a positive work environment. Additionally, I envision myself traveling the world, empowering people to grow, heal, and become the best versions of themselves through writing transformative books on spiritual and mental wellness practices and through empowerment speaking. Lastly, I would love to have a television show, podcast, or radio show focused on spiritual and mental wellness.
