Meet Claire Andrews of West Meade, Nashville, TN

Today we’d like to introduce you to Claire Andrews

Hi Claire, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
During my time studying fashion merchandising in college, I worked in the men’s department at Nordstrom, where I had the opportunity to meet many personal shoppers and stylists. I made it a point to introduce myself and build connections with each of them, often scheduling coffee chats to learn about their journey into personal styling. Each conversation provided me with invaluable insights that shaped my approach, leading me to develop a personal formula that I stand by everyday: work hard, take chances, and be kind.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Building a career you love is rarely a straightforward journey. One important lesson I learned is that it’s okay not to be fully immersed in a fashion-focused role all the time. Sometimes, saying yes to a side job that helps pay the bills is necessary, and that’s perfectly fine. It took me some time to grasp this, but I found that patience was crucial along the way.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As a full-service wardrobe stylist, I specialize in creating looks that highlight your unique shape, coloring, and personal style. During the week, I work as a virtual stylist with Be Styled Co. in Franklin, TN, where I empower women to feel confident in their clothing by providing tailored wardrobe coaching. My clients span the nation, and I connect with them through Zoom. In my free time, I also freelance as a stylist for music videos and photoshoots, collaborating with music artists, TV personalities, and models. Whether my client is walking the red carpet or presenting at work, I aim to be the calm, positive energy they need in those pivotal moments.

What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, I want to continue empowering women through fashion, helping independent artists develop their unique looks, and promoting body positivity in an industry that can often feel discouraging. My goal is to convey that hiring a personal stylist is more accessible than many think. Everyone deserves to feel great in their clothes, and achieving that doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag!
