Alejandro, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
At 10 years old, I found myself selling women’s hair accessories on the streets of Honduras and Guatemala. It was a small start, but those early days taught me the importance of hard work and resilience. When my family and I moved to the USA, I helped my mom clean houses the days I didn’t attended school. And at 19, I became an electrician. The trade fascinated me, and I dove in, constantly learning and pushing myself.

By the time I was 22, I had become a foreman, and two years later, I took a big leap and started my own company, Lex Enterprise Inc., in Nashville. The journey wasn’t without its ups and downs—entrepreneurship rarely is—but each challenge pushed me to become a better leader, both for my team and my clients. Today, Lex Enterprise Inc. is a reliable name in the Middle Tennessee area for residential and commercial electrical services.

My faith has always been my compass, guiding me through challenges and successes alike. God is my strength and my truth.
Recently, at 32, I felt the call to give back by becoming an electrical instructor. Stepping into the classroom felt like a natural extension of my journey—helping fresh minds prepare for the trade.

Outside of work, I’m always exploring new passions. Songwriting is my form of therapy, allowing me to connect with my emotions and tell stories; traveling my source of reflexion. I also love the thrill of rock climbing and the creative freedom in fashion direction. Right now, I’m working towards earning my private pilot license and learning the finer points of golf.

But at the heart of everything is my family. Being a husband and father is my most important role, and I never see them as a limitation—only as a foundation for everything I aim to achieve.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every day, I wrestle with finding the motivation to make each moment count and live without regrets. My faith is a constant journey, something I work on daily to stay grounded. At work, I face challenges in being the best service provider I can be and guiding students effectively as an instructor. Even in my relationships, expressing affection doesn’t come easy. I struggle in all these areas—there’s no way around it. But I embrace these struggles, knowing they’re part of the journey toward growth and becoming a better version of myself.
