Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey to pursuing a full-time music career has been fraught with challenges, including periods of homelessness, financial sacrifices, loss of romantic relationships, nomadic uncertainty and the immense pressure of managing what often feels like multiple full-time jobs under one title.
In an industry rapidly shifting toward a fast-changing, trend-driven culture, authenticity often takes a backseat, leaving a generation searching for a true sense of identity amidst the noise. The push to match fleeting trends and follow rigid outlines has created a vacuum where genuine artistry struggles to thrive.
The music business itself has become a relentless beast, with labels and booking agencies caught in a constant debate over where to invest: social media numbers, ticket sales, raw talent, or artist development. For many, navigating this environment means grappling with broken promises, stolen income, and the challenge of finding footing in an industry that often prioritizes being part of the “in-crowd” over true merit.
As the world continues its shift into a more technological era, the uncertainty surrounding the future of music grows. For those seeking to carve out a place in 2025, it’s no longer just about survival—it’s a test of pure heart, resilience, and unwavering authenticity.
To be the one out there doing it professionally or to be the one dreaming it.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’ve been a full-time musician since the age of 9, performing everywhere from dive bars to working on film sets with Billy Bob Thornton, and sharing stages on the bill with artists like Jelly Roll. To this day, I continue to fight the good fight, making immense sacrifices to stay in the race. Above all, my goal is to inspire others to embrace a non-conformist lifestyle, be kind to one another, and help each other see the world’s beauty beyond the veil of perception—connecting with the true soul of the human race and its integrity to put meaning and purpose into existence for a greater good.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
No matter the tragedies we each face in our personal lives, we are all born into a world full of chaos, striving to find understanding and identity. In this life, we must not be afraid to stand out or distance ourselves from the noise in order to find moments of stillness—whether it’s in silence or a simple image that reminds us that life is more than it appears. To spend our time doing anything that doesn’t align with our true inner spirit, a gift given by something greater than ourselves, would be a life poorly spent. Live for something deeper than the surface, and lift someone up along the way.
You can suffer being rich or suffer being poor. The question is, which one is worth suffering for?
All of life is a form of suffering, so choose to suffer for something you truly believe in—whether you choose to be part of the game and suffer, or choose to stand apart, make sure there is love in the dream.
