Hi Khloe , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I entered the event industry immediately after graduating from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I was instantly captivated by the beauty and magic involved in a wedding day, and it’s a deeply fulfilling feeling to help couples with such a special chapter in their lives together. Now, I consider myself a seasoned vet after being in the wedding industry for ten years. I’ve grown W Events bigger then I’ve ever dreamed and we are now based in three cities in the Southeast – Nashville, Atlanta, & Chattanooga. Just as my first few years in business, I continue to be moved by our couples that so passionately lead with love to their core and I am honored to be a part of making our couples dream weddings come to life. I love watching the love of our couples continue even after wedding day as they become parents, buy homes, and find success in their lives after wedding day.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to success has not been linear. The pandemic was a stressful year full of unknowns for my business and the couples that planned to get married in 2020. During these hard times, I stayed true to our values of helping people navigate the journey to their weddings and thankfully we came out the other side a stronger and more resilient business. In addition, opening a new market is always a humbling experience. I expanded to the serving couples in the Nashville market in 2020 and it was definitely a learning curve to be the new kid on the block again. I am so thankful I made that choice five years ago. The event community and couples in Nashville are vibrant, kind, and inspiring in ways I could have never imagined. I have been so fortunate to be welcomed with open arms.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Designing a wedding is a visual representation of the couple’s taste, interests, and story up to that point. Our work is best known to reflect the personality of the couple getting married – making guests say “wow, this is so them” from the moment they arrive at the wedding. We intentionally weave personal details about the couple into all aspects of the wedding day. My favorite part of the wedding planning process is the design phase. I take inspiration from interior designers and fashion designers to create the perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern touches that make every single wedding we plan unique.
