Rising Stars: Meet Aries Rivera of San Diego

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aries Rivera

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born in Ecuador, a small country in South America. I moved to USA two years ago for more opportunities because, in a hard position, for my lifestyle, I needed a special change in my life and here I found it.
It was kind of hard because I had a good life in my country but, you sometimes need to leave your comfort zone to grow up.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, not at all.
First of all, it is a different country with a different culture. The need to adapt to another way of life is hard at first, but you always find people who accompany you on this path and make it easier. Another difficulty in this adventure was the language. In my country we speak Spanish and, to adapt, you need to improve your second language. You miss your family and friends and also your own culture, but, over time, I learned to feel like a citizen of another world living the American dream.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I will take different ways to explain this point.
I have a degree in Chemistry and Biology with a minor in Education and I have a Master’s degree in University Management. I have been learning about gastronomy because gastronomy is very interesting, but I am also a photographer and I love fashion.
I have worked with different brands and fashion platforms in my country, and I am trying to work with brands from here. On my social media everything revolves around travel, fashion and lifestyle and I like the way I show who I am to my followers.
