Pamela Little is a powerhouse in the independent music scene, dedicated to helping artists succeed. She started her business out of necessity, recognizing the challenges musicians face in getting booked and gaining exposure. This passion led her to establish Southern Lights Entertainment, a booking and management company that has been securing shows for artists for the past five years.

Taking her vision even further, Pamela opened Momma Pam’s Bar in Harriman, Tennessee—a thriving music venue that has quickly become a go-to spot for live entertainment. More than just a bar, Momma Pam’s is a community-driven space where artists, music lovers, and industry professionals come together to celebrate great music.

In addition to booking and venue ownership, Pamela also runs her own independent internet radio station, The Midtown Groove. This platform provides artists with even more opportunities for exposure, giving independent and up-and-coming musicians a chance to reach new audiences worldwide.

Through her relentless dedication, Pamela has built a strong reputation in the industry, helping rising stars and seasoned performers alike grow their careers. I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—building a career in the music industry rarely is. Pamela Little’s journey has been one of hard work, persistence, and overcoming obstacles to create opportunities for artists and herself.

One of the biggest struggles was starting out with little industry connections and resources. Booking shows and managing artists requires not just passion, but also relationships with venues, promoters, and other industry professionals. In the beginning, getting artists the gigs they deserved wasn’t easy, but through sheer determination and a hands-on approach, Pamela built Southern Lights Entertainment into a respected name in the business.

Opening Momma Pam’s Bar also came with its own set of challenges. Launching a music venue is a massive undertaking—dealing with permits, renovations, and the financial strain of getting everything off the ground. There were times when it felt like the hurdles kept coming, but Pamela pushed forward, determined to create a space where live music could thrive in Harriman, TN.

Running The Midtown Groove, her independent internet radio station, has also required constant adaptation. The digital landscape changes quickly, and staying ahead means constantly learning, marketing, and making sure artists are getting the exposure they need.

Beyond the business side, another challenge has been balancing everything—booking, managing a venue, running a radio station, and supporting artists, all while dealing with the ups and downs that come with the industry.
