Hi Ashley, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As a wife, mom to an energetic little boy, and a lover of all things crafty, my life is a beautiful blend of creativity and joy. My passion for photography stems from a desire to capture the heartfelt moments in life—those fleeting smiles, spontaneous laughter, and the connection between loved ones. It truly started when I wanted to capture all the small moments of my pregnancy with my little boy and it really grew from there.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think when you are in any creative field there is a ton of self doubt and in order to grow out of it (even though there are still days that are hard) you got to really immerse yourself into your craft . Photography is such a huge field and there are so many talented creatives that it’s really important to continue to grow and immerse yourself in the community. Create relationship with vendors and others in the industry 🙂

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
I think the biggest thing someone starting out can do is to be willing to always learn- Photography is such an ever changing field with its own trends, equipment, etc. So if you’re not willing to continuously learn-then it is really hard to grow. Also, as hard as it is- don’t compare your work with someone else’s which is something I wish I knew early on to not do– you are unique and there’s a place for you in this industry.
