Hi Hunter, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As a kid I grew up on job sites with my dad, he was a superintendent for a prominent home builder in Kingston Springs. At a young age I became curious about the processes and creativity of home building and trades. As a young man and teenager I was constantly spending my weekends doing projects around our house. As most people know, sometimes obligation can erase passion. I went to school, got my degree, and entered the workforce as a construction project manager choosing money over passion. Learning myself more and reopening my mind to alternate career choices Covid hit. I was laid off and forced to re-enter the job market, from a stint of unemployment I decided to take a shot at self employment. I always had a knack for creativity but had been unlocked by introspect in my employment hiatus. I decided to focus on updates and painting. Fast forward, I’ve been in business 3 years and 4 months today, I have successfully built a company primarily as an owner/operator based on my passions of doing business the right way and bringing dreams to reality. I wouldn’t be here without my faith and taking that leap. I like to say God gave me the opportunity and I just capitalized.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The largest challenges I’ve faced have been an unstable economy, when things are good and people are spending money, it’s great; when they aren’t, it’s hard. With good asset management, I’ve weathered the storm at the macro. The challenges on the micro and day to day can be hard, days are long and businesses are expensive to run but one foot in front of the other is my philosophy.

Integrity. I believe in always being honest and open from the start. I don’t go into someone’s business or home with the intentions of selling a service but rather building a relationship. Money is easy, genuineness is rare.
