Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Dominique
Hi Jasmine , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have always been surrounded by creative, innovative and very intelligent people. My paternal and maternal lineages are full of leaders, philanthropists and entrepreneurs. At a very young age, I was inspired to think outside of the box and to blaze a trail that would inspire and pave the way for others!
I delved into writing poetry at the age of 12 and was selected to represent my school during a creative writing contest. Afterwards, my confidence was fueled, and I became enamored by all things that were inspirational and creative. Also, I attended arts magnet schools during middle school and high school. I was very fortunate to be surrounded by the most incredible and talented kids. Also, my teachers challenged me to remove the veil of comfort! They challenged me to learn more about different artistic mediums like drama and theater.
As time progressed, I became an artist that mostly channeled creativity through dance and writing.
Shortly after I graduated from High School my mother died unexpectedly. At the ager of 38, she had a brain aneurysm that would ultimately be the cause of her demise. For many years, both my mother and father struggled with drug addiction. The battle with drugs would eventually cause my father’s demise. As a result, I was led to the field of psychology. I was curious and because of my history with trauma, I wanted to provide a safe space for others to address their own.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has not been smooth. In fact, it has been quite challenging but rewarding. As I have developed, healed and discovered more about myself and life my brand has changed.
Being an entrepreneur that is aiming to have an impact comes with seasons. Some seasons are easy and some are very difficult. Remembering the “why” has kept me humble and motivated when I wanted to give up. Also, many people have been programmed to support what is tangible and evident. Quite often, I have fueled my vision and purpose on my own simply because others could not understand it nor see immediate results. Hindsight has revealed to me that it was ok for others to not believe, to invest or to understand my vision. My hope now is that they feel it.

I have always been fueled by my passion to support others along their evolutionary journey.
During a major episode of depression, I began to see the world differently. After surviving one of the darkest phases of my life, I knew that surrendering was the best option. Vividly, I recall emerging from her cocoon, I am very grateful for the challenging times in my life. Ultimately, those moments led me to my soul where all of the magic began to happen. I knew that it was my responsibility to assist others with going within so that they too could discover their power, which is limitless.
A passion to connect with others led me to pursue my education in the field of Psychology. I graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Tennessee State University and with a Master of Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Though westernized education has allotted me the opportunity to reach diverse groups with diverse needs, I wanted to include artistic and spiritual empowerment techniques into my practice.
I have been trained and educated about ancient African and indigenous spiritual practices and traditions. The desire to continue my evolutionary process led me to Salvador Bahia Brazil where I engaged in multiple outlets that opened my mind and heart. Under the guidance and support of the most respected instructors, I studied different forms of Brazilian dance. Also, I worked closely with Spiritualists to integrate the power of Plant Medicine into my healing regimen.
After returning to her hometown in Nashville, TN Jasmine continued to study alternatives for western medicine. She is now a certified Reiki Specialist and Master Teacher and a Holistic Birth Doula & Childbirth Advocate + Educator.
Brazil gifted me with an immersive experience that included dance therapy, music therapy, energy healing and powerful experiences with plant medicine sparked a flame that would eventually flourish into a Safe Space for others.
LUZ is a Portuguese word that means light. While in Brazil, I delved into a transformative experience that introduced me the power of Nature and Holistic Care.
22 is a significant number that holds tremendous power. It represents balance, harmony, unity and strength. It is a foundational number that connects us to the spirit and guidance of our ancestors.
