I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset, but my journey into financial services and business consulting was driven by a deeper purpose—to educate and empower small business owners and individuals to take control of their finances.

I started my career navigating the complexities of taxes, credit, and business funding, and I quickly realized how many people, especially small business owners, struggle with financial literacy. They were making avoidable mistakes simply because they lacked guidance. That’s when I decided to turn my knowledge into a resource.

I launched Elite Royalty Consulting, a full-service financial firm that helps individuals and businesses with tax preparation, bookkeeping, business credit, financial planning, and mentorship. Over time, I expanded my services to include life insurance, credit repair, and business structuring, ensuring that my clients not only build wealth but also protect it.

My business grew through education, community engagement, and a hands-on approach. I’ve hosted financial literacy nights, mentorship programs, and business workshops—all with the goal of making financial success accessible and achievable. Today, I take pride in being a trusted financial expert and a mentor for aspiring entrepreneurs, helping them turn their dreams into reality.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not! Like any entrepreneur, my journey has been filled with challenges, setbacks, and valuable lessons. When I started, I had the passion and knowledge, but I had to figure out how to build a business from the ground up—and that came with its own set of obstacles.

One of the biggest struggles was educating people on the importance of financial literacy. Many individuals and small business owners don’t realize how much they need guidance until they run into financial trouble. Overcoming that mindset and getting people to take proactive steps rather than waiting until it’s too late was a challenge in the beginning.

Another major hurdle was finding the right mentors. When you’re building something from scratch, it’s easy to feel like you have to figure it all out on your own. I didn’t always have access to people who had walked the path I was on, and that sometimes slowed my progress. But once I started investing in my education, seeking guidance from experienced mentors, and surrounding myself with like-minded people, my perspective shifted. I realized that learning never stops, and I grew a deep love for expanding my knowledge—not just for myself but so I could teach and empower others.

I also faced the challenge of balancing growth with quality service. As my business expanded, I had to learn how to delegate, build a strong team, and implement systems to keep everything running smoothly. There were times I felt stretched thin, but I knew that in order to serve more people, I needed to scale the right way.

As a woman in finance and entrepreneurship, I’ve also had to navigate male-dominated industries, proving that I belonged in these spaces. But I used that as motivation to push harder, network smarter, and position myself as an authority in financial consulting and business mentorship.

Despite the roadblocks, every challenge has made me stronger, more resilient, and more prepared to help others. The lessons I’ve learned along the way now allow me to teach, mentor, and guide other entrepreneurs so they don’t have to make the same mistakes. The journey hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been worth it.
