Check Out Shelsea Becker’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shelsea Becker

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The She Will Conference began in October 2017 as a single annual event in the Hill Country of Texas but has since expanded to nine conferences nationwide, from California to Florida, including Tennessee, Alabama, and Missouri. The conference is expanding every year. Founded by Shelsea Becker, the President of l.y.n Ministries, Inc., the conference is dedicated to discipleship, teaching biblical principles, fostering powerful worship, prayer, and testimonies, and building a Christ-centered community. With the motto Women Championing Women, it aims to change culture and create a welcoming space where all have a seat at the table Christ sets.

The She Will Conference team started with Shelsea who invited three other women, and it has now grown to a team of 15 women spread across different cities and states. The team is made up of women who are strong in their faith, love God’s Word, and have a true heart to serve God’s people. Despite coming from different backgrounds, experiences, denominations, ethnicities, and unique personalities, they are unity in their mission. The diverse team comes together for every live, in person event to carry out the vision of discipleship, worship, and community.

The women that make up SheWill is Shelsea Becker, Savanna Holubec, Sara Prather, Tammy Manning, Heather Grissom, Kelly Levatino, Lexi Levatino, Apryl Randall, Thresa Lawson, Jessica Cornelison, Louvina Gross, Lois Underwood, Madeline Brownfield, Kim Carnell. We have had others who have enriched us with their time and talent Victoria Steelman, Laura Anne Smith, Kim Miller, Bev McCann, Julie West, Liz Catlin, Christy Catlin, Courtney Richard, Susan Weagant, and Deanna Nail.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been an easy road. Moving the She Will Conference from place to place comes with many challenges—coordinating travel, transporting merchandise, banners, equipment, and ensuring every detail is in place. Ministry also requires financial resources, and covering costs for venues, lodging for the team, and meals for attendees requires careful planning and trust in God’s provision. At the same time, the team is growing spiritually, learning to surrender personal desires as they step deeper into God’s calling. With each expansion, the need for faith, sacrifice, and dedication increases.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the visionary behind every theme for the She Will Conference and L.Y.N. Ministries, where I get to merge creativity with biblical truth. With a background in interior design and event planning, I incorporate color, graphics, textures, and God’s Word to bring powerful, immersive experiences to life. I specialize in live, in-person events, which I love because they give me a “front-row seat to watch God work.”

As an award-winning comedic speaker, I engage audiences in a fun and uplifting way, bringing strong biblical messages through humor and storytelling. Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to expand my creativity into the Christian Country music industry, directing music videos and songwriting.

What are you most proud of?

One of my proudest moments has been co-writing the song and serving as the creative director for the music video alongside Chandler Baucom of Baucom Media for Hold the Line by Victoria Steelman, the 2025 She Will Conference theme song. The song hit #1 on the Christian Country Top 40 chart in March 2025, which was an incredible milestone! I also directed Small Town Girl by Victoria Steelman, which won 2nd place at the 2024 International Christian Film and Music Festival. Additionally, the Hold the Line music video is nominated for Best Music Video at the 2025 ICFF, with the award ceremony coming up in May.

Beyond awards and recognition, I’m most proud of the impact—seeing women step into their calling, watching God move in live events, and witnessing how creativity and faith can intersect to reach people in fresh, powerful ways.

What sets you apart from others?

My ability to blend humor, creativity, and deep biblical truth makes my approach unique. Whether I’m speaking at a conference, designing a theme, or directing a music video, I aim to make faith come alive in a way that is engaging, joyful, and impactful. I thrive on creating spaces where women feel seen, empowered, and challenged to grow in their walk with Christ. Also, stepping into the Christian Country music world has opened a whole new avenue to share faith-based messages through storytelling and song.

Through it all, my heart remains focused on the mission—helping women stand firm in faith and equipping them to Hold the Line.

Any big plans?
The vision for the future is to continue expanding the She Will Conference to national cities in all 50 states, reaching even more women with the message of faith, discipleship, and empowerment. In addition, we plan to host She Will Sisterhood Nights in churches across the USA, creating spaces for women to gather, worship, and grow in their faith together.

We are also excited to launch Girl’s Weekend God’s Way—a weekend retreat in a box that includes video teachings, study booklets, and activities, making it easy for women to host meaningful retreats wherever they are. Beyond that, we are preparing to launch a podcast and introduce our Speaker Network, equipping and empowering more voices to share the gospel in impactful ways. The future is full of exciting growth, and we can’t wait to see how God continues to move!
