Meet Alli Lindroth of Nashville Authority

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alli Lindroth

Hi Alli, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
After moving to Nashville in 2015, I founded Nashville Authority to fully immerse myself in my new city and share my knowledge with like-minded individuals who are always looking for the next new hot spot or hidden gem. Over time, it grew into a vehicle to spotlight local stories, share openings and amplify the messages of small businesses all over Music City.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My professional career started at public relations and social media agencies, working with brands in the commercial, healthcare and hospitality industries. I hit a small bump in the road during COVID when the food and beverage industries took a big hit and subsequent years in agency life were greatly affected. After a brief stint in-house at a new downtown Nashville hotel and a several-year return to agencies, I finally took the plunge to go full-time with Nashville Authority in 2025. In addition to spotlighting local businesses on our channels, I now offer freelance social media, influencer coordination and email marketing services to small businesses that need marketing assistance but may not have the big agency budget.

As you know, we’re big fans of Nashville Authority. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m immensely proud of the impact that Nashville Authority can have on a local small business. Not every post can go viral (thanks, Meta), but for the ones that do hit that organic wave, I’ve seen it make a huge difference in the lives of these businesses – waitlists quadrupling, followings increasing by multiple thousand, events adding more dates, more than 30k video shares and beyond. Authentically showcasing these inspiring stories and watching everyone else share in my excitement is the most rewarding part of the job.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
As an Authority on Nashville, I’d say I’m a big fan! I love how much the city is constantly growing and yet it still feels like a small town. I can’t run to the grocery store or grab a cup of coffee without running into someone I know, but there’s 4+ insane openings every single weekend. The best of both worlds!
