Today we’d like to introduce you to Wesley Chandler

Hi Wesley, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Southpaw Stogies started in April 2024 with the idea of bringing the camaraderie and atmosphere of a cigar lounge directly to someone’s special event. When the dream of owning my own cigar lounge started several years ago, I wanted to find a way to incorporate over 10 years in hospitality and events into my business. My wife and I came across this gorgeous little trailer for sale, and the idea of our mobile cigar lounge came to fruition.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
So far it’s been a really great journey! We are very fortunate that so many people have had an interest in Southpaw Stogies and our mobile cigar lounge experience. I believe that our team’s background in hospitality and passion for cigars is truly what sets us apart.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I come from several years in the hotel hospitality Industry. I had a wonderful experience working at Gaylord Opryland for several years and then managing the Fairfield in Lebanon, TN. During this time my passion for tobacco grew and I got my tobacconist certification and studied as much about cigars and tobacco as I could. I’m most proud of when I took my first steps at starting Southpaw Stogies and deciding to leave the hotel industry. Now with Southpaw Stogies I get to bring all the years of hospitality to the cigar industry and I truly believe this is what sets Southpaw Stogies apart from anyone else.
