Today we’d like to introduce you to Georgia Edgeworth

Hi Georgia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I moved to Nashville originally to do country music and through a series of events became a producer and songwriter mainly specializing in the TV world.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think any artist will tell you that there will be a lot of doubts along the way. I discovered that my greatest weakness in writing Country music could be used as a strength in the Pop Alternative Genre. I was told over and over again that my lyrics weren’t detailed enough in Country Music, and then I found out that the TV/film world wants universal lyrics with imagery and that’s what I do best ! It’s amazing how something you thought that you weren’t “enough” at can turn into a strength .

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I try to write songs to make you feel something. Whether I want you to get up and dance, or I want you to cry, I’m gonna try either way. That’s what I love about music, it’s about making people feel something. It’s making the most ordinary things into something extraordinary and taking the mind and spirit somewhere it’s never been. That’s why I do what I do, simply because I love it. Sometimes that looks like being a villain in my own song, or sometimes I’m the hero, I love to create a world where I can be both. It’s hard to say what songs I’m most proud of, but I would say some of my favorites aren’t released yet, and one of my favorites is released and was a nice feature on “Selling Sunset”, it’s called ” Breaking You”. I wrote it by myself during a hard time in my life. Another proud moment was having another song I wrote and produced called “Drama” on “Ted Lasso”.
Other proud moments include an Xbox Trailer and several network promos. Overall what sets me apart is that I produce, sing and write.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
If you hear my music you might think that I’m a bit dark and introverted, and I’m quite the opposite!
