Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynn Echo

Hi Lynn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Just a Midwest girl who always had a dream of becoming famous. I’ve loved singing and acting from a very young age. Before moving to Nashville, TN in 95, I enjoyed a life of mingling with the stars, touring with artists, opening up for all known artists, even co-writing songs. In addition to this, I’ve always had a flair for fashion, just doing me and standing out. After being taunted, talked about, being falsely accused of things during my school years, I decided to focus even more on me, myself and I. This consisted of my love for fashion, like hats, and sunglasses, shades of lip gloss, new hair styles, etc. I wanted to rebuild my character, by looking great on the outside and feeling good on the inside. I wanted to become a stronger person. With much prayer, my love for God, family and close friends, I did just that. Today, at the young age of 56, I own my own small boutique business, where I help to build self esteem, character and love for self, through fashion. You guessed it, hats and eyewear. You never know how something this simple helps to boost a person’s self love and make them feel good about themselves. Hey, I was once there. I actually take time to love on my customers, by motivation, a friendly smile, a hug and even prayer. On top of owning my business, I decided to pursue another dream, which was becoming an actress. Since 2022, I have been a part of multiple movies, commercials, music videos, and television series. I am currently awaiting filming for a movie, where I’ll be portraying the mother. Can’t say much, but just know it’s going to have you glued to the TV with anticipation of each scene. It will be shown on several viewing platforms. I’m blessed and proud to be a black woman, who holds several positions, a mom, wife, job, entrepreneur and actress. I’ve faced many challenges that tried to effect me, like racism on the job, losing both parents, fighting to be seen and heard in the entertainment industry etc. Ohhh but God sees all and definitely knows all. With God’s love, support of my husband, family and close friends, I’ve been able to conquer and be a conqueror. Believe it or not, the BEST is YET to come. Stay tuned!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing smooth about it…. so much to say, ohhh just read my previous comment, hahaha

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Actress, singer.. I’m great at doing improvisation. I don’t necessarily need a script. Ohhh and I can cry on que.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I stand tall at 5’11 and proud of my height. I’m able to see my vision clearly from up high, lol… where others cannot.

You wanna know why? Cause God made me to stand out from the rest, and gave me my vision of my dreams and goals and His promises on where they’re going to take me. Others can’t see that vision. Even if they were as tall as I am, they still can’t see it.

Because God gave ME the vision through my eyes only!
