Check Out Sheana Harville’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheana Harville.

Hi Sheana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started baking back in 2010 as a way to cope during a tough time in my life — it became a creative and therapeutic outlet for me. At first, I was just baking for friends and family, but over time, word spread and I started getting requests from people I didn’t even know for parties, showers, and other events. In 2023, I decided to take a leap and turn my passion into a legal business. Since then, it’s taken off in ways I never expected, and I’m so grateful for how far it’s come.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t exactly been a smooth road. In August 2023, my husband left his job of 7 years, and shortly after, we bought a local frozen yogurt shop. We opened the doors in January 2024, which was exciting but also came with a lot of challenges. I’m a mom of four and I homeschool, so between that, everyday parenting, and navigating major life changes — all while running a brand-new brick-and-mortar business — it’s definitely been a wild ride. We’ve faced a lot of bumps along the way, but we’ve learned and grown through each one

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Right now, I focus primarily on running our new business, Honkytonk Creamery, alongside my husband, while still keeping my cookie business going on the side. For most of my adult life, I’ve been a stay-at-home mom, fully dedicated to homeschooling and raising our four children. Stepping into the world of entrepreneurship and managing a brick-and-mortar business is a brand new chapter for me, but it’s one I’m excited to grow into. I think what sets us apart is the heart we put into everything we do — family, community, and creating a space where people feel welcome. I’m proud of how far we’ve come, especially with all the changes we’ve navigated in such a short time.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I love most about our city is the sense of community. Even with all the rapid growth, it still manages to hold onto that small-town feel where people look out for each other. As for what I like least I’d have to say — definitely the traffic, haha!
