Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Reda.

Hi Amber, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into photography began with capturing moments of my own children as they grew. Documenting their lives ignited a deep passion for photography, and I quickly realized how meaningful it is to preserve these fleeting moments. My heart is with babies and families because those connections and milestones are what matter most to me. Over time, I turned that passion into a business, helping other families create lasting memories through my lens.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but I’ve been incredibly fortunate. As a stay-at-home mom of 5 years, and entrepreneur, balancing family life with building a business had its challenges. However, my husband has been my rock, supporting my dreams every step of the way. Because of that, I’ve been able to fully embrace and enjoy every part of this profession, turning my passion into something truly fulfilling.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a mostly self-taught photographer, aside from safety training for newborn photography. My heart is with newborn, family, maternity, and milestone photography. What makes me most proud is seeing my improvement with every session. I’m always looking for ways to grow and refine my craft, whether it’s trying new techniques or finding fresh ways to capture meaningful moments. One of the best feelings is when a client returns—it means they trust me to continue documenting their family’s journey, and that truly means the world to me.

What sets me apart is my ability to bring out my clients’ true personalities and capture them in a way that feels natural and genuine. My goal is for families to look back at their photos and see themselves—not just posed images, but real moments that reflect who they are.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people might not know that I’m a huge fantasy reader! I love diving into beautiful imaginative worlds, and it really fuels my creativity. The rich stories, vivid descriptions, and unique characters inspire how I approach my photography, helping me see beauty and potential in every moment I capture.
