Today we’d like to introduce you to KeErrica Smith.

Hi KeErrica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always had the eye for photography , but didn’t start to invest in it more until the pandemic hit . I had so much free time on my hand so why not . I picked up a camera and never put it down , I even gotten with locals that guided me on how to work my camera . So I was at a point of prefecting my craft and I did just that and as the days went on I had gotten better and started investing in myself and my new business . Here I am today with a whole studio and all the things you’ll need to bring your vision to life .

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing is ever smooth , but long as you have the ability to be open minded and willing to ask for help when needed it’ll get better . I’ve had my struggles with photography but I never once said I was going to give up . I used my tools God gave me and kept pushing no matter what was ahead of me .

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a photographer out of Jackson, Tn .
My specialty is studio pictures , my best work comes from maternity , kids birthdays and enhancing beauty in general . I try not to limit myself so I tackle on just about everything , I’ve done weddings , engagements , child birth , surprise parties and dinners just about anything you’ll need a picture for I’ve done it .

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see my business relocating , still in the Jackson area but I’m wanting to expand space wise . I’ve outgrew the studio I’m in thanks to my talent and clientele .
